Coming Soon: New Dining Options on Mulberry Street

Within the next week the University will open a new dining facility featuring a P.O.D. (Provisions on Demand) Market and the Mulberry Food Court. The P.O.D. Market will combine the corner store with the style of a modern market featuring grab ‘n go dining options, including sushi, salads, sandwiches and wraps, fresh produce, baked goods, coffee selections, and traditional essentials found in a convenience store.

University Plans Political Engagement Week

University of Scranton students, faculty and staff have planned a series of events around the Nov. 8 election to encourage political engagement on campus and off. Political Engagement Week runs from Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8, through Monday, Nov. 14, and includes events for students, as well as a film festival that is open to the public, free of charge.

Quiñones ‘Constantly Surprised by the Good in People’

John Quiñones, the Emmy Award-winning co-anchor of the ABC News show “Primetime” and host of the series “What Would You Do?,” told an audience of nearly 600 University of Scranton students and area residents of the good he has often seen throughout his career, sometimes as the result of uncovering an injustice.
