Scranton Ranked on 'Friendliest Colleges' List

The University of Scranton can add a new title to its list of national recognitions: one of the friendliest colleges in the nation. Last week, The Huffington Post published an article titled "The FRIENDLIEST Colleges," ranking the eight most pleasant universities, which included Scranton. "Sure, we all obsess over which college has the best food or academic decathlon team, but how about considering a more basic question – are the students here nice to each other?" asked the author.

University’s Schemel Forum Offers Collaborative Programs to Community

Presentations about music from the past, an educational success story and thoughts about the Marcellus Shale boom highlight the two upcoming Schemel Forum Collaborative Programs: one with Pages&Places and the other with The University of Scranton’s Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library.
