The IEEE Club would like to congratulate Michael Rojek, Daniel Schlasta, Ardy Wong and Scott Yablonski for placing second for their robot design in the Micromouse competition at the Region 2 IEEE Student Activities Committee (SAC) Conference, held on April 16, 2011. The Micromouse competition allowed students to use their engineering background to build and program a robot that could autonomously navigate through a maze. The competition is held annually and took place in Erie this year. The University IEEE club took place in seven competitions, competing amongst more than 200 undergraduate and graduate engineering students. Competing schools included Rowan University, The Penn State University, George Washington University and Temple University.
