Starting Tuesday, March 1, parents of University of Scranton students will have a new way to find answers to their questions with the opening of the Parent Relations Office. The new department offers parents a one-stop source for information about their student’s college experience.

Conference Celebrates National Sportsmanship Day, Promotes Coaching Education

In celebration of the 21st annual National Sportsmanship Day, The University of Scranton will host class of 1966 alumnus John Walsh, executive vice president and executive editor of ESPN, Inc., during PIAA-sponsored conference entitled “Schools Shaping the Culture of Sport” on Tuesday, March 15, and Wednesday, March 16, at the DeNaples Center on campus.

University Brings French Film Festival to Scranton

The University of Scranton is one of approximately 90 universities nationwide to host the Tournées Festival, a 15-year-old program offered by the French American Cultural Exchange. The film festival, presented by the University’s World Languages and Cultures Department, will run March 1-3 and 7-8 in the Pearn Auditorium, Brennan Hall. All showings begin at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
