Scranton Hosts Third Annual Journalism Boot Camp
Professional journalists from The Times-Tribune will conduct the daylong workshop for area college students, concentrating a variety of subjects, including desktop publishing, editorial writing, feature writing and sports writing. An art track, highlighting graphics and political cartooning, has been added this year.
According to Matthew Reavy, Ph.D., professor of communications, the Boot Camp is open to all University students regardless of major, though participating students are asked to register beforehand. Registration forms are available at professor Kim Pavlick’s office in St. Thomas Hall, fourth floor.
The workshop will be held on the fourth floor of St. Thomas Hall in rooms 462, 463, 465 and the television studio. For more information, contact professor Pavlick at email@example.com.
