CNN Journalist Speaks Candidly About Russia at Luncheon

CNN Foreign Affairs Correspondent Jill Dougherty spoke candidly on her views about Russia to an audience in The University of Scranton’s Rose Room of Brennan Hall on March 5. Her presentation, entitled “Who Runs Russia? Deciphering Moscow’s Centers of Power,” was the second of the Spring Luncheon Seminar Series offered by The Schemel Forum that focuses on world affairs.

Acclaimed Organist to Perform on Historic Organ

Organist extraordinaire Frederick Hohman will return to The University of Scranton on Friday, Mar. 26, at 7:30 p.m. for a performance on the University’s historic Austin organ in the Houlihan McLean Center on campus. Hohman, a critically acclaimed organist and composer, will return to the Houlihan-McLean center for his fourth recital on this recently restored instrument.

Royal Dancetacular Makes All the Right Moves

The Royal Dancetacular, a 24-hour dance marathon held at The University of Scranton Feb. 20-21, which benefited Cancertacular, a local non-profit organization that supports children affected by cancer in Northeast Pennsylvania, was a smashing success.
