In celebration of the 20th annual National Sportsmanship Day, The University of Scranton will host Matt Davidson ‘93, Ph.D., an expert on character education, executive director of the Institute for Excellence and Ethics, and former Royal lacrosse player, during a PIAA-sponsored workshop Wednesday, March 10, in the McIlhenny Ballroom of the DeNaples Center on campus.

Healthy Heart Fair Planned at The Mall at Steamtown

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention name Heart Disease as the leading cause of death in the United States. With February being dubbed “American Heart Month,” The University of Scranton’s Exercise Science Club will bring heart health awareness to area residents at the third annual Healthy Heart Fair. The fair will take place on the second floor at The Mall at Steamtown on Tuesday, Feb. 23, from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature free health screenings, interactive educational games and giveaways.
