University of Scranton Psychology Professor Carole Slotterback's research of more than 1,200 children's letters to Santa reveal what children really want for Christmas. Dr. Slotterback wrote about her findings in a recently published book "The Psychology of Santa."

Lecture Features Crime Investigation Specialist

The University of Scranton will host a presentation by Eric Piza, a geographic information system specialist from the Newark Police Department, about “GIS in Law Enforcement: A Problem Solving Analysis of the Newark Police Department.” The lecture, which is open to the public free of charge, will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. in the Pearn Auditorium of Brennan Hall.
