COAT DRIVE

Students from the ALD  First Year Honor Society and Community Outreach Office are conducting a COAT DRIVE. Donate your NEW or CLEAN, GENTLY USED COAT(S) to help individuals in need this winter. Donations for MEN, WOMEN, and CHILDREN will be accepted from November 2 – December 1, 2009.  Drop-off boxes are located on the first and second floors of the DeNaples Center. New GLOVES and HATS are also appreciated. All items collected will be given to United Neighborhood Center and the Leahy Clinic on campus. If you would like a student to pick up your donations, please contact Mary Ellen Pichiarello x. 4039 or Ellen Judge x. 7429.

IT Forum Scheduled

The next IT Forum for the Fall 2009 semester is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in The Rose Room, Brennan Hall 509.  Our focus this month will be on Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 7.

Children’s Christmas Party

The Community Outreach Office, Student Government and Senior Programmers are hosting a Children's Christmas Party on Sunday December 6th from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.  University and dining services employees and their children may join us in the McIlhenny Ballroom, 4th floor DeNaples Center for a fun day of caroling, crafts, games, lunch and pictures with Santa hosted by our student clubs.  Donations of Giving Tree gifts are appreciated.  To register, email Ellen Judge at judgee2@scranton.edu and indicate number of children attending by Thursday, Dec. 4th.  Questions?
