Flamenco Dance Class for Students, Staff and Faculty

Flamenco Dance Class: Looking to improve your posture, hone your sense of rhythm, or just move your body? Learn flamenco, southern Spain's passionate dance! Featuring percussive footwork, clapping, and ornamental arm and hand movements, flamenco is an individual dance appropriate for all ages and bodies. Men and women of all dance backgrounds including absolute beginners are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes (sturdy, 1-inch heels are ideal but sneakers are fine for the first few weeks).

Open to students, staff and faculty. Class begins Sept. 13 and will run all semester. Wednesdays, 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. the Aerobics Room, Byron Center Sponsored by the Center for Health Education and Wellness.
