The Office of Community Relations is once again circulating a Staff/Faculty Community Service Input Form to gather information on community service activities being performed by University of Scranton staff and faculty in a professional and/or personal capacity. This optional, voluntary form is ongoing and designed to be filled out 1-2 times per year.
Please Note: If you encountered a glitch with the survey in which after answering "no" to the first question, the survey ended, we have corrected the problem and ask that you return to complete the survey.
Last year, more than 60 faculty and staff members responded. Information was used in public materials, such as University media releases, Community Relations e-newsletters, and applications for recognition, such as the annual President’s Honor Roll for Community Service and, most notably this year, for the Carnegie Foundation’s Community Engagement Classification, which we first obtained in 2008 and for which we are re-applying this year. Visit the following website for highlights and profiles from the 2013 survey: http://www.scranton.edu/about/community-relations/news/2014/Spring/survey-highlight.shtml.
Please take a few moments to and help us track and celebrate community service activities. If you complete the form between now and May 30, 2014, you will be entered to win dinner for two at Carl Von Luger Steak & Seafood in downtown Scranton (provide your email to be eligible).
