125th Anniversary: Celebrating Service

Be an integral part of our 125th Anniversary Celebration! Get on board with a new service opportunity for faculty, staff and students in an initiative sponsored by the 125th Anniversary Committee and the Center for Service and Social Justice.

Create a team with 4-5 people and together commit to completing 125 hours of service from now until April 1, 2014. The service can be done individually, with a friend, or with a group. It can be with a local agency, at your parish, on campus – any activity where you are giving your time to others. Each team should select a captain, and the captain can fill out the registration information here

Team captains will receive a form to keep track and certify the hours completed by his/her team.  The time commitment for the entire team should be at least 125 hours (not 125 hours per team member), but feel free to continue to do your service after you’ve reached your target number!

Teams and individuals will receive a certificate of appreciation from University President Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., and the names of those participating will be displayed on a poster on campus.

The first team to reach and report 125 hours will receive 125th Anniversary memorabilia.
