Council for Exceptional Children Attends Conference in Texas

The Council for Exceptional Children, also known as CEC, is a club dedicated to special education. This spring, from April 3 through April 6, CEC visited San Antonio, Texas, to attend a conference where professors from all over the world gather to teach new practices, technologies, studies and lessons.

The professors who participated in the conference were Vanessa Silla, Ed.D., Dona Bauman, Ph.D., and Sandra Lamanna along with students Eileen Pape and Christine Wolff. The conference focused mainly on brian research, bullying, new technology in the classroom, ways to approach students with severe special needs, and discipline practices for those with special needs. Students from all over the world were present at the conference.
