The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce the launch of a series of learning sessions available to staff and faculty entitled "For Your Benefit."
Recognizing that our employees face many challenges while navigating the ever increasing complexities of managing a life and career, we have designed a series of sessions to provide information, resources and planning guidance on a wide range of topics including our various employee benefit plans and life issues such as retirement and estate planning.
The series began this spring with a focus on retirement readiness and continues for those in their early and mid-career as outlined in sessions 3 and 4 below. Your suggestions for future For Your Benefit topics are welcome and can be made via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mid-Career Retirement Income Planning
April 24, 3:30 p.m.
Geared for employees between the ages of 40 to 55, this program has an emphasis on asset allocation, retirement income planning, secrets to long-term savings, estate planning and risk management. Early Career Retirement Income Planning
May 17, 2 p.m.
Focused on topics of interest to employees ages 22 to 35, a chat about various types of savings vehicles, debt management, Roth vs Not Roth, life insurance needs or not, risk tolerance, asset allocation and estate planning documents.
