The University is preparing to submit its Periodic Review Report (PRR) to its regional accreditor, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. This report marks the halfway checkpoint of the decennial self-study process. Our last self-study, completed in 2008, yielded a number of recommendations for improvement within the fourteen standards for Middle States accreditation. The PRR process provides us an opportunity to reflect on the progress we’ve made in responding to those recommendations. The PRR process is being led by co-chairs John Deak, Ph.D., professor of chemistry, and Kate Yerkes, director of planning and institutional effectiveness. The PRR is due to Middle States by June 1 of this year.
A draft of this report is now available for University review by members of the University community. Feedback should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org . To view the report, log into the my.scranton portal, and click the Draft Periodic Review Report link in the University News and Communications channel on the University Links tab.
More information about the PRR process, and our Middle States accreditation, is available from the Planning & Institutional Effectiveness website.
