The University of Scranton Programming Board (USPB), International Service Program (ISP), and Aramark will be hosting the inaugural campus-wide "Top Chef Scranton" cook-off competition among students. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 12, at 8 p.m. in the third-floor cafeteria in the DeNaples Center. Four teams of four students will be paired with an Aramark chef and compete to get their dish featured in the Aramark Fresh Food Company.
Teams will have one hour to prepare their meal using chicken as the main ingredient, and receiving a secret ingredient that night. They will be judged on taste, presentation, use of the mystery ingredient, creativity and audience support. A one-year subscription to Netflix will be raffled off to a lucky audience member who comes out to the event.
All audience members will the opportunity to learn more about the 10 counties the ISP travels to each year through handouts from both current and past ISP members. A $2-3 suggested donation will be taken at the door and all proceeds will go directly to the ISP.
