Now Hiring Tech-Savvy Students as CTLE TechCons

The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) has TechCon positions (student workstudy) available to support the center's works with faculty and students to help create an environment that encourages and supports student learning, faculty enrichment, instructional design, and the use of technology. 

Technical Consultants (TechCons) are highly skilled student workers who are technology-savvy, self-driven, reliable, and able to work both independently as well as in a team environment. They work approximately 10 hours each week, with flexible scheduling, and gain valuable real-world experience and training.

CTLE TechCons:

  • Work directly with faculty and students on a wide range of projects;
  • Provide technical support to faculty and students on the use of ANGEL;
  • Audio/Video Production for online use;
  • Design web sites using a Content Management System (CMS);
  • Develop enhanced PowerPoint presentations;
  • Have good knowledge about web design and multi-media software products;
  • Research and present emerging technologies. 

The CTLE is especially interested in students who are available to work during summer 2013. Students who qualify and are hired for these positions can begin working during the remainder of this semester or the summer and continue working during future semesters.
