The Women’s Entrepreneurship Center (WEC), a partnership of the Kania School of Management and the Small Business Development Center, is currently seeking students to join us as unpaid interns. This opportunity places students with seasoned business consultants working with a variety of small business clients. Your education will be put to use immediately as you assist clients with business plans, industry information, social media and more.
“Working at the Women’s Entrepreneur Center has allowed me to merge business theories taught in the classroom with real world experience," said Lizzie Abikaram '13, a current WEC intern. "Being able to work with clients one–on–one and interact with them has been the highlight of interning at WEC over the past three years. Not only have I have learned so much from interning at WEC and working with fellow colleagues, but I have also learned a lot from working with our clients."
The position is offered to rising juniors and seniors, with at least a 3.0 GPA wishing to obtain hands-on experience working with women entrepreneurs. A minimum of 10 hours weekly is required during the regular semester.
