University Students Volunteer at Thanksgiving Food Drive

University of Scranton students, faculty and staff donated food baskets for area families in need through its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive organized by the University’s Campus Ministries’ Center for Service and Social Justice. The baskets were distributed to families at the Valley View Housing Development. Among those participating are, from left: University students Bridget Fasciani of Malverne, New York; Victoria Gazzillo of Haledon, New Jersey; Amy O’Neil of Wilmington, Delaware; James Buckley of Belle Harbor, New York; Kate Musto of Pittston; Meagan Lammers of Downingtown; Ben Strickland of Scranton; and Patrick Chapman of Yardley.

Students, faculty and staff will also volunteer at the University’s annual Community Christmas Day Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 25 in the DeNaples Center. Reservations are not required to attend the free breakfast. For information call 570-941-7401 or email info@scranton.edu
