Winners of Brain Bee Competition for High School Students Announced

Roy Ghosh, a 10th grade student from Parkland High School, Allentown, came in first place in The University of Scranton’s 17th annual Northeast PA Brain Bee. Michael Medaugh, an 11th grade student from Pocono Mountain East High School, Swiftwater, came in second place, and Amrit Hingorani, a 12th grade student from Stuyvesant High School in Brooklyn, New York, came in third place.

The competition for high school students in grades nine through 12 was held in the spring semester on Scranton’s campus. It was offered free of charge and was sponsored by the Neuroscience Program at Scranton and the Scranton Neuroscience Society.
