‘Off-site’ Tour of New Hildebrandt Learning Center Scheduled at University of Scranton July 27

Jul 23, 2015

In partnership with The University of Scranton and Greenspace Properties, the NAEYC accredited Hildebrandt Learning Centers, a Bright Horizons Family Solution, will offer an “off-site tour” of the new facility that will open in August at the former Madison Junior High School. Because the ongoing construction at the new center made an “on-site tour” unfeasible, Hildebrandt will host an “off-site tour” on Monday, July 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. on the fourth floor of the DeNaples Center on the University’s campus.

Those attending the “off-site tour” will meet the center’s director, teachers and members of its curriculum team, as well as tour exhibits of some of the learning environments Hildebrandt offers. Information about curriculum, policies, available openings and registration will also be provided.

The University, Greenspace Properties and Hildebrandt partnered on a project to convert the former Madison Junior High School building at 528 Quincy Avenue into a state-of-the-art early learning center and apartment-style housing to serve the University’s graduate and international students. The center will also create avenues for University student and faculty collaboration through internships and experiential learning opportunities.

Construction is on schedule for the center to open on August 24.

The “off-campus tour” is offered free of charge. Reservations are requested and can be made by emailing eerrico@hildebrandtlc.com or by calling 800-874-3461.
