University of Scranton President Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., met with PNC Regional President Peter Danchak to commemorate PNC’s completion of a pledge in support of Scranton’s Loyola Science Center.

Dedicated in the fall of 2012 and the culmination of more than 15 years of planning and preparation, the $85 million center is the largest capital project in the University’s history. The center’s design builds on the concepts of Project Kaleidoscope, the leading advocate for enhancing the quality and effectiveness of science teaching and learning. Designed by Einhorn Yaffee Prescott Architecture & Engineering (EYP), the 200,000-square-foot facility recently earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold status.

The 167-seat auditorium on the first floor of the Loyola Science Center is named PNC Auditorium.
