Schemel Forum Luncheon with Pulitzer Prize-winning Historian Rescheduled to March 24

Pulitzer Prize winner Fredrik Longevall, Ph.D., will discuss President Obama’s foreign policy, governmental approach and connection to Wilsonian principles at The University of Scranton Schemel Forum luncheon Monday, March 24.

The presentation, entitled “Obama and the World in Historical Perspective,” will begin at noon in the Rose Room of Brennan Hall. Fees vary for the luncheon.

The luncheon was rescheduled from an earlier date due to a winter storm.

Dr. Longevall is the John S. Knight Professor of International Studies and vice-provost for international affairs at Cornell University. He received a Pulitzer Prize for his book “Embers of War: The Fall of an Empire and the Making of America’s Vietnam.”

The event is part of the Schemel Forum’s World Affairs Luncheon Series.
