University of Scranton Among U.S. News & World Report’s ‘Best Graduate Schools’
U.S. News & World Report ranked several of The University of Scranton’s programs among “America’s Best Graduate Schools” in its 2015 guidebook.
The University’s online graduate program in education ranked No. 6 in the nation. The University offers online a Master of Science degree in the education fields of curriculum and instruction and educational administration (K-12), in addition to a non-degree administration certification program.
U.S. News ranked the University’s online MBA program No. 51 in the country. The University offers an online Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) in general business, enterprise resource planning, healthcare management, operations management and international business.
U.S. News ranked the University’s part-time MBA program No. 132 in the nation on its website. On campus MBA students can specialize in accounting, enterprise resource planning, finance, international business, management information systems, marketing, operations management or general business.
The University’s graduate programs also ranked on the U.S. News website include:
rehabilitation counseling (30); healthcare management (46); occupational therapy (69); physical therapy (99); and nursing (193).
All of the University’s graduate programs hold the highest national accreditation within each discipline. The University’s education programs are accredited by Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) and the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Scranton’s MBA program is accredited by AACSB International, the most recognized and respected business school accrediting body. Only five percent of business degree-granting institutions in the world hold this prestigious accreditation.

The complete list of graduate school rankings became available on the U.S. News website on March 11. A selection of the rankings will be included in the printed version of the guidebook that will be published Tuesday, April 8.
In undergraduate rankings published by U.S. News & World Report, Scranton has been named as one of the top 10 “Best Regional Universities in the North” for 20 consecutive years and was among just 61 up-and-coming schools in the nation in its 2014 edition of “Best Colleges.”
