Ready to Run Rescheduled to February 1, 2014

         The University of Scranton has rescheduled the Ready to Run™ Northeast Pennsylvania conference to Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014. The conference, conducted in partnership with the Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) at Rutgers University, has been postponed from its originally scheduled date of Nov. 16.

         The day-long conference, which will now be held in February, prepares women from 24 Pennsylvania counties to run for office, seek higher office, or work on a campaign. At the conference, prominent elected leaders and consultants will provide expertise on developing and executing a political campaign.

           The conference serves residents of Berks, Bradford, Carbon, Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Juniata, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Pike, Schuylkill, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Union, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
