The University of Scranton Alumni Relations Office and the family and friends of the late Michael Mulhall ’10 will hold a 5K Fun Run to support a memorial scholarship in his name.

The 5K run, which is open to the public, will take place Saturday, Sept. 15, at Nay Aug Park. Registration opens at 11:45 a.m. and the race begins at 1 p.m. Proceeds from the $35 registration fee will support the Michael Mulhall ’10 Memorial Scholarship, which will be given to a student pursuing a degree in education or special education.

Michael Mulhall ’10, from Floral Park, N.Y., received a bachelor’s degree in history from The University of Scranton. He died in an automobile accident while en route to work at Camp Anchor on the morning of July 15, 2010.
