University of Success Accepting Applications

The University of Scranton’s University of Success, a multi-year, pre-college program for high school students designed to develop the skills needed to successfully gain entrance to college, is currently accepting applications for the 2012 school year. Applicants must currently be enrolled in the eighth grade and possess a strong desire to attend college in the future.

The University of Success offers enrichment courses for students in study skills, SAT preparation, public speaking, math, science, art and cultural activities, as well as financial aid and wellness seminars.

Upon entering the multi-year program, the students will participate in a two-week residential program on the campus of The University of Scranton from July 8 through July 20, 2012. Students continue to participate in the program through their four years of high school with the ultimate goal of gaining acceptance into a four-year college or university.

Applications for 2012 must be received by April 2, 2012.
