Building Features:  Apartments for 396 juniors and seniors; 14,000-square-foot fitness center on the ground floor; casual dining facility with indoor and outdoor seating on the first floor; student convenience store on the first floor; student lounges and other gathering spaces.

Fitness Center in Pilarz Hall: 46 pieces of cardio equipment, including treadmills, stationary bikes and elliptical machines, all furnished with individual theater systems; 22 Cybex units designed to exercise precise muscle groups; and an extensive, state-of-the-art free weight area. The facility includes locker rooms and shower.

P.O.D. (Provisions on Demand) Market and the Mulberry Food Court: Combines the corner store with the style of a modern market, featuring grab ‘n go dining options, including: sushi and salads, sandwiches and wraps, fresh produce, baked goods, coffee selections and traditional essentials found in a convenience store. 

  • The P.O.D. Market: is designed to engage students about the foods they eat, offering information about their place of origin and nutritional value. Product cues clearly identify food items as vegan, organic, kosher, locally-grown, gluten-free, low-carb or fair trade.


  • The Mulberry Food Court: will feature the following stations: A Salad Station, with made-to-order Salads and Daily Specials; A Deli Counter serving custom-made Sandwiches, Hoagies and Panini’s; and A Hot Food Station offering Pulled Pork, Mac-Cheese, Wings and more.

Green Construction: Building is designed in accordance with LEED standards, however the University  will not seek LEED certification.
