AJCU CMA 2009 CANCELLED
It is with great regret that I inform you of the cancellation of this year's AJCU-Conference on Multicultural Affairs at the University of Scranton, June 10-12, 2009. The unfortunate cancellation is due to unexpectedly low registration numbers.
While we are very saddened by the need to cancel this year's gathering, the Executive Board of AJCU-CMA is starting to plan now to bring the conference back stronger and better than ever in the summer of 2010.
Submissions for Distinguished Programs will be carried over for consideration in 2010. Many thanks for those submissions.
AJCU-CMA will maintain its commitment to award two (2) Bill Davis Scholarships to the selected student applicants for 2009. Notification will be sent to those deserving students on June 12, 2009 as scheduled.
For those of you who have already registered for this year's conference in Scranton, your original checks for payment will be returned back to you within a week of this correspondence. If you have questions about the return of payment for registration, please contact Ms. Peggy Doolittle (University of Scranton) at firstname.lastname@example.org or 570-941-7680.
