Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees at the University of Scranton serves an institution that is founded in the Catholic, Jesuit tradition, committed to scholarship, community, and service. The primary duties of the Board include the oversight of the institution’s budget, the establishment of fundamental institutional policies, and the selection and appointment of the University’s President. The Board also sets overall directions and institutional objectives for the University, among other responsibilities. Much of the Board’s work is addressed via several standing committees; the overall structure of these committees is aligned with the four themes of the University’s strategic plan: Educational Excellence, Campus Community, Economic Strength, and Civic Engagement.
The Board is chaired by Christopher M. Condron '70.
