Leahy Clinic Receives Grants

The University’s Edward R. Leahy Jr. Center Clinic for the Uninsured received two grants this past semester.

The clinic was among just 55 organizations in the nation awarded a grant from the CVS Health Foundation in partnership with the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. The CVS Health Foundation is a private foundation created by CVS Health, in partnership with the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC).

The Leahy Jr. Center Clinic also recently received a $35,000 grant for the support and operation of the clinic from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Health Care Foundation, which supports the health care needs of the residents of Lackawanna, Luzerne and Wyoming counties.
