Alumni Honored in Business Leader Hall of Fame

The University’s Kania School of Management honored five alumni as the first members of its Business Leader Hall of Fame in April. The inductees have led or founded noteworthy companies such as Southern Union, Heidrick and Struggles, Fisher Scientific and Axa Financial. Among them, they have decades of experience in law, leadership and business ethics.

Honored were John E. Brennan ’68, P’06, Christopher ‘Kip’ Condron ’70, H’03, Arthur J. Kania, Esq. ’53, H’89, Paul M. Montrone, Ph.D. ’62, H’86 and Gerard R. Roche ’53, H’82.

The Business Leader Hall of Fame events included a standingroom-only panel session at which the five honorees spoke with current students. During the event, students asked questions about the leaders’ personal experiences and lessons learned at the helms of some of the nation’s most successful companies. University President Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., also unveiled the Business Leader Hall of Fame plaques.
