HEIER, CAPT. RICHARD D., Class of 2008, Scranton, on December 26. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 3, at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church at Mary Mother of God Parish, 316 William St., Scranton, 18508. Interment will be private. Military honors will be accorded at the church after Mass. Viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday, 4 to 8 p.m., in the Edward J. Chomko Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 262 Railroad Ave., West Scranton. Anyone attending the Mass is kindly asked to go directly to the church.
