Dean Charles Kratz announced in January 2008 that two University of Scranton professors had been awarded Information Literacy Stipends to help them integrate student learning outcomes on information literacy in their courses. This is the fourth year that these stipends have been awarded.
Dr. Thomas Hogan of the Psychology Department is the first grant recipient. Betsey Moylan will be the Consultant Librarian.
Dr. Terry Freeman Smith of the Health Administration and Human Resources Department is the other grant recipient. Bonnie Oldham will be the Consultant Librarian. This is the second time that Dr. Smith has been awarded an Information Literacy Stipend.
