Bonnie Oldham joined the Reference
Department in September as Evening Supervisor/Public
Services Librarian. In addition to her reference duties
at the Weinberg Memorial Library, she is the Distance
Learning Services Coordinator and the faculty liaison
librarian for the departments of Exercise Science,
Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy, and for
the Dexter Hanley College.
Ms. Oldham holds a Master of Library Science degree
from Kutztown University, a Master of Science in Organizational
Management from College Misericordia, and a Bachelor
of Arts degree in History from Chestnut Hill College.
She also holds teaching certificates in Library Science
and Social Studies.
Previously, Ms. Oldham was employed by the Luzerne
County Library System as their Automated Services
Coordinator. Prior to that, she was the Public Services
Librarian at College Misericordia. She has also been
an Instructor in the Library Technical Assistant Program
at Northampton County Community College.
On a personal note, Bonnie and her husband Warren
have three adult children. Her interests include reading,
cooking, making crafts, sewing and needlework, and
attending Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins games.
Other Staff Changes:
We would like to welcome Kym Fetsko who joined the
Library staff in January, 2005, as the new Administrative
Assistant to Dean Charles Kratz.
Dr. Debra Busacco, Director of the Center for Teaching
and Learning Excellence, is leaving the University
to assume the position of Chair of the Speech-Language
Pathology Department at College Misericordia.
Patricia Savitts, formerly the Secretary to the Library
Dean, has moved to the position of Reserve/Circulation
Mary Alice Fenwick, formerly the Reserve/Circulation
Clerk, is now Secretary to the Dean of Students.
