IEEE Xplore provides access to 104 full-text journals and magazines published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This past year the Physics Department at the University of Scranton made the decision to cancel the print subscriptions to these IEEE publications and subscribe instead to the online versions. Besides a substantial cost savings, the online versions provide greater access to the publications for more students and faculty on and off-campus. The publications may be browsed by title or searched for a specific subject or author.
Search is the database maintained by the American Occupational Therapy Association for the literature of occupational therapy.
It is solely a bibliographic database, that is, only citations and abstracts are given; it is not full-text. The database indexes journals, newsletters, monographs, proceedings, reports, doctoral dissertations, and master's theses. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of occupational therapy, the database also would be useful for researching topics in rehabilitation, education, psychiatry or psychology, and health care delivery or administration.
