Leaves of Class Winners

The Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library are pleased to announce the following recent winners of our Leaves of Class drawings, a benefit on behalf of the Weinberg Memorial Library.
July - Nina Hilson of Scranton who won a beautiful diamond tennis bracelet and turquoise earrings, gift certificates from the Cummings House, Shoestrings and Suburban Casuals.
August - Violet R. Kelly of Scranton who won 4 passes to tour the countryside on a Fall Foliage Tour train ride, a round of golf for two and all the necessary accessories, and passes for two to the Broadway Theater League's season of performances.
September - Karen Minora of Scranton who won a whole year's worth of bestsellers (one a month) from the University of Scranton Bookstore, 2 tickets to the 2001 Distinguished Author Award Event along with an autographed copy of the author's latest book, autographed copies of the 1999 Caldecott and Newberry Award winning children's books, and a gift certificate from
October - Dr. Timothy D. Welby of Scranton who won round trip bus tickets to New York City to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, gifts from Helen Schwartz Gifts and Mary-Go-Round Gift Shop and floral arrangements from Whites Country Floral and Remick Floral & Gift.
November - Eugene Monick of Dalton who won gift certificates from the Spice Shoppe and Naturally Yours, a Christmas Angel Ornament (a one-of-a-kind by artist Lisa Fedon), a Home Film Festival gift certificate, a $200 gift certificate from Ticketmaster to attend the event of your choice and a traditional portrait sitting and package from Guy Cali Associates.
December - Carolyn Santiso of Lake Ariel (Annual Fund Specialist) who won a computer, two Continuing Education courses at The University of Scranton, and a gift from Circuit City.
