Project Muse Available Through Library

The Weinberg Memorial Library has recently become a subscriber to Project Muse, a full-text, full-image database of over 40 journals published by Johns Hopkins University Press. The journals cover the fields of the humanities; the social sciences, and mathematics. Coverage for most journals begins in either 1995 or 1996.

To access Project Muse enter the Library home page. Click on Electronic Indexes and then select Project Muse from the menu. Searching is flexible and can be done either by subject, journal title, or a combination. After viewing the search results, simply click on the article desired, and the full text of the article will appear. Project Muse is available at this time only from campus computers.

Project Muse joins the other full text periodical databases offered by our Library. These include Infotrac's Expanded Academic ASAP, Business Index ASAP and Predicasts PROMT, IDEAL, NewsBank, and First Search's WilsonSelect, all of which give the user complete journal articles online suitable for printing or downloading.
