Author Linda Fairstein to Receive Distinguished Author Award
Linda FairsteinBest-selling crime novelist Linda Fairstein has been named as the recipient of the 2003 Royden B. Davis, S.J. Distinguished Author Award. Ms. Fairstein will be honored at a dinner sponsored by the Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003. Special Collections Adds New Features to Web Site
Special collections will be adding two new features to the departmental web site during the course of autumn 2003. A finding aid for the Abe Plotkin collection and a medieval manuscript site will be added in the near future. > Full story
Upcoming Friends Lecture
The Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library will present a slide lecture by Peg McDade, well-known artist, weaver and teacher. "Elements of Art Design" will be held in Brennan Hall Auditorium, Tuesday, 18 November 2003 at 7:00 pm. - 8:30 p.m. Ms McDade will discuss line, color, volume and shape. The presentation is free and open to the public. Please join us for the event.
