As the University of Scranton's Digital Services Librarian, Prof. Yarmey creates, maintains, and preserves digitized and born digital materials from the University Archives and Special Collections in the Library's digital collections and web archives. She is also actively engaged in the Library's exploration of emerging information environments and digital scholarship practices. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Pennsylvania State University, a master's degree in library science (with specialization in archives and records management) from the University of Maryland, and a master of arts degree in history from the University of Scranton.
