Credo Reference is a full-text online reference service. The collection includes over three million entries from hundreds of well-regarded titles from some of world's the best reference publishers. Contains dictionaries, bilingual dictionaries, thesauri, encyclopedias, quotations and atlases, plus a wide range of subject-specific titles covering everything from art to accountancy, science to Shakespeare and law to literature.

Criminal Justice Periodicals (ProQuest)

Searches a comprehensive collection of U.S. and international criminal justice journals covering a wide range of topics on law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law and industrial security. Coverage is 1981–present. Links for full image, full text and abstracts are indicated below each citation.

ERIC (EBSCO)

An Educational Resource Information Center provides access to education literature and resources from journals indexed in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. The database contains more than 1,243,000 records and links to more than 224,000 full-text documents from ERIC.  

GPO Government Printing Office

Consists of records published by the GPO since July 1976. Includes references to congressional committee reports and hearings, debates, documents from executive departments, and more. This database is updated monthly.

Historical Abstracts

Contains references for publications since 1954 to over 2000 sources. Includes article abstracts and citations of reviews and dissertations on the history of the world except the US and Canada from 1450 to present. Updated annually.

In the First Person

In the First Person is a free, high quality, in-depth index of close to 4,000 collections of personal narratives in English from around the world. The index contains approximately 20,500 months of diary entries, 63,000 letter entries, and 17,000 oral history entries.

Lexis-Nexis

Provides access to journals, magazines, and newspapers in full text format. The subject areas covered are news, business, law, health, and reference. This database is updated daily, and sources can be searched for the last five or ten years, and in some cases back 30 plus years to provide bibliographic records. This database contains over 5200 sources.

Newspaper Source (EBSCO)

Newspaper Source provides cover to cover full text for 35 national (U.S.) and international newspapers. Also contains selective full text for 375 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television and radio news transcripts are provided.

Project MUSE

Access to the full text of over 100 scholarly journals published by the Johns Hopkins University Press in the areas of arts and humanities, social sciences, and mathematics. The coverage is from 1990 to the present.

SpringerLink is an integrated full-text database for journals and books published by Springer. SpringerLink currently offers full-text access to 73 philosophy journals and nearly 1000 philosophy books. To restrict your search to resources to which the Library has access, remove the check mark from the box that says “Include Preview-Only Content.”
