Experian Simmons is a premier resource for marketing research. There are multiple datasets for information on consumer lifestyles, attitudes, and preferences. There is also information on specific brands as well.

Humanities Source (EBSCO)

Developed from a merger of high-quality databases from EBSCO Publishing and H.W. Wilson, and including many unique sources that were never previously available, this database offers worldwide full-text content pertaining to literary, scholarly and creative thought.  Humanities Source provides full text—plus abstracts and bibliographic indexing—for the most noted scholarly sources in the humanities. IEEE Electronic Library (IEL)

Provides full text access to IEEE transactions, journals, magazines, and conference proceedings published since 1988, plus select content back to 1950 and all current IEEE standards.

Informaworld (Taylor & Francis Online

InformaWorld hosts journals, eBooks, abstract databases and reference works published by the Taylor & Francis group, Routledge, Psychology Press and Informa Healthcare.

JSTOR (Full Text)

Provides full text access for scholarly journals in the areas of African-American studies, anthropology, Asian studies, ecology, economics, education, finance, history, literature, mathematics, philosophy, political science, and sociology. The Life Science Collection is also available. This database covers a complete journal run from the first issue up to the most recent three to five years.

Lexis-Nexis

Provides access to journals, magazines, and newspapers in full text format. The subject areas covered are news, business, law, health, and reference. This database is updated daily, and sources can be searched for the last five or ten years, and in some cases back 30 plus years to provide bibliographic records. This database contains over 5200 sources.

Newspaper Source (EBSCO)

Newspaper Source provides cover to cover full text for 35 national (U.S.) and international newspapers. Also contains selective full text for 375 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television and radio news transcripts are provided.

PapersFirst

Indexes every published congress, symposium, conference exposition, workshop and meeting received by the British Library Document Supply Centre. Indexing begins in 1993.

Proceedings

Proceedings indexes the published literature of the most significant conferences, symposia, seminars, colloquia workshops and conventions in a wide range of disciplines.

ProQuest Central

ProQuest Central is the largest aggregated full-text database in the market today totaling more than 11,250 titles—with over 8,400 titles in full text. It serves as the central resource for researchers at all levels in all markets.

SAGE Journals Online

Fulltext access to over 460 journals in business, humanities, social sciences, science, technology and caregivers. The Guide covers diseases, disorders, treatments, procedures, specialties, anatomy, biology, and issues in an A-Z format, with sidebars addressing recent developments in medicine and concise information boxes for all diseases and disorders.

Social Sciences Full Text (H.W. Wilson):

Covers over 550 periodicals in the fields of anthropology, economics, geography, law and criminology, political science, social work, and sociology. Covers 1983 to the present. Updated monthly.

SRDS (Must use Internet Explorer to access)

The SRDS database of media rates and information catalogs more than 100,000 U.S. and international media properties. SRDS staff verifies each listing up to 20 times per year and each month make more than 21,000 listing updates.

Ulrich's is an authoritative source of information about magazine and journal publications.  It is the best place to look to determine if a publication is peer reviewed.
