The Field Suite (or "Mud Room", as affectionately referred to by some of our faculty) will be a facility where students and researchers who are returning from field work can store equipment, sort samples, and clean their field gear. It is conveniently accessed from the loading dock.
This 546 square foot room includes: a field equipment storage cage, a stainless steel (SS) sorting sink, a rinse pan (where a person can stand inside and rinse out waders, nets, etc.), and tables and counters as ample workspace.
This will allow our students who are doing field work to have an on-site location for sample sorting and analysis, and equipment maintenance and storage
