Sarah Eynon

Sarah Eynon, MPM

Having returned to Lackawanna County in 2003, Sarah started her career at Times-Shamrock Communications in 2005.  During her sevens years there she experienced many aspects of the newspaper industry along with the growing need for integrated digital applications and social media campaigns.  Starting in prepress and quickly moving to design/layout and niche product integration, her last three years were spent as the Marketing and Events Coordinator for their regional products.  This is where the dive into digital formats and social media began! In the ever-changing climate of media outlets and technology, adaptation was key and those efforts certainly aided not only the company, but also the community and the fundraising events they fostered.

Upon completing her Masters in Project Management, Sarah joined Nexus Hospitality Management in 2012, owner of the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, as the Director of Commerce and Promotion. Recently she was a campaign manager during the Scranton Mayoral Primaries. She consulted on fundraising, event planning, campaign organization and social media planning.

Currently Sarah is the Advancement Services & Prospect Research Manager at the Commonwealth Medical College aiding the development department in growing student scholarships, event planning, and community awareness. These efforts contribute not only to the education of new Pennsylvania doctors, but foster economic growth and meet a true need of our region’s growing health care demands. She also served as the Regional Director for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for three years and is currently serving on the board for Dress For Success Lackawanna and the Scranton Jazz Festival.

Sarah currently resides in North Scranton with her three children, Gabriel, Peyton and Ava, and their dog Ellie.
