Christopher P. Gillett

Christopher P. Gillett, Ph.D., was named assistant professor of history.  He completed a doctorate in history at Brown University, where he also earned a master's in history and served as a teaching assistant and visiting assisstant professor.  Dr. Gillett's bachelor's degree, from Rutgers University, is in history, journalism and media studies, and political science.  His doctoral disserttion is titled "Catholicism and the Making of Revolutionary Ideologies in the British Atlantic, 1630-1673."
