John A. Ruddy, A.B.D.
Dr. Ruddy was named assistant professor of economics and finance. He has been a faculty specialist in the Accounting and Economics/Finance Departments at the University since 2013. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Scranton and an MBA in finance and investments from The George Washington University. He is completing a doctorate in business administration at Pace University and also holds Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. He has also worked as an accounting and finance practitioner since 1991. He started his career as an auditor for the federal government, worked for a Big 4 accounting firm and several money center financial institutions.
