Scott P. Breloff, Ph.D. cand., was named assistant professor of exercise science and sport. Breloff was a graduate teaching fellow at the University of Oregon, Eugene, Ore., where he served as a lead instructor, lecturer, laboratory coordinator, teaching assistant and research associate. He also served as a graduate assistant and research assistant at the University of Mississippi, Oxford, Miss. Breloff has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, and a master’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi, Oxford, Miss. He will earn his Ph.D. from the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon with a concentration in biomechanics following his defense in October. He resides in Scranton.
