Clinic for the Uninsured
About Us
The clinic provides free "non-emergency" health care to uninsured Lackawanna County residents who may otherwise forego health care due to cost or seek care in hospital emergency rooms. We strive to provide high quality care in a welcoming, respectful and compassionate environment.
The clinic offers opportunities for teaching, research, learning, and service to University of Scranton faculty, students, and volunteers. The Clinic makes a commitment to improve access to health care for the uninsured while fulfilling the University of Scranton's Jesuit tradition of educating "young men and women for and with others."

The staff of the Edward R Leahy, Jr. Center Clinic for the Uninsured hopes that you, your family, and your friends are maintaining health and safety during this uncertain time in our community. Your continued health and well-being remain our first priority. Although we are not scheduling patient appointments at this time, please call us at (570)941-6112 with any problems or concerns so that we can assist you in meeting your health care needs. If you need to be seen by a health care provider, please call the Scranton Primary Health Care Center at (570)344-9684. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please go directly to a local Emergency Room.
