Pooja Patel

Pooja Patel, Centerville, Illinois is currently pursuing a Master’s in Health Administration at the University of Scranton. She is currently the Director of Marketing of Scranton’s ACHE Student Chapter.

Prior to pursuing a Master in Health Administration, Pooja graduated from the University of Cincinnati in December 2016. She earned her undergraduate degree in the field of Health Promotion with a concentration in public and community health with a minor in Business Administration. After the completion of her MHA degree Pooja plans to work in the operations and/or quality division of a large hospital in a metropolitan area.

She currently volunteers in the Emergency Room at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. She is currently a member of the national organization The American College of Healthcare Executives. (ACHE).

During Pooja’s free time, she enjoys traveling domestically and internationally, exploring new places, discovering new restaurants, hiking and cooking. During her undergraduate career, she student abroad in Peru and looks forward to completing a graduate course in Slovakia this spring.
