Nancy Marangelli

Nancy Marangelli, Brooklyn, NY, is currently pursuing a Masters of Health Administration. Nancy started the accelerated MHA program during her senior year of undergraduate studies. In 2018, she graduated from The University of Scranton with a BS in Health Administration and a minor in Business Administration. She is a member of national professional organizations including American College of Health Care Executives (ACHE) and the Health Care Financial Management Association (HFMA).

Nancy is currently a Board Member at Large for the University of Scranton’s ACHE Student Chapter Executive Board; she will serve as a liaison to the general membership and contribute to the overall organizational goals. She has previously served on the ACHE Student Chapter Symposium Planning Committee. Nancy is also the Late-Night Intern at The University of Scranton’s Center for Health Education and Wellness. This program provides students with alternative opportunities to alcohol-related activities on campus during late night and weekend hours. Additionally, Nancy works at Geisinger Community Medical Center as a Nursing Assistant, where she hopes to learn and understand more about clinical operations and workflow in healthcare.

When Nancy is not in the classroom or the workplace, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. During her undergraduate career, she studied abroad in Morocco and looks forward to completing a graduate course in Slovakia this October to expand her global perspective and present her research.
